April 26th, 2014 - Bad Luck Continues for Whitener at Volusia
Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) played host to the United Dirt Late Model Championship Series (UDLMCS) on Saturday evening as the inaugural running of the Spring Shootout was contested at the 1/2 mile oval.

In time trials Mark Whitener powered his #58 Big Frog Motorsports/Dave's Towing/B&B Produce Late Model to third fastest during qualifying among the thirty-four entries on hand for the event. He later won his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw for the $3,000-to-win finale. The bad luck continued for Whitener in the feature, after blowing a tire early in the event resulting in heavy right side damage to his entry. He returned to the tail of the field and worked his way back to fifteenth before ultimately retiring from the remainder of the program.

Mark is currently fourth in the series' point standings. Full results from the event as well as the latest standings are available at www.UnitedDirtLateModelSeries.com

April 12th, 2014 - Tough Break for Whitener at East Bay
East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) played host to a $3,000-to-win event with the United Dirt Late Model Championship Series (UDLMCS) on Saturday evening.

Thirty-eight entries were on hand for the event and Mark grabbed the win in his heat race, earning him a spot in the redraw for the evening's main event where he drew the third starting spot on the feature grid. When the race went green, Whitener charged toward the front and took over the top spot on lap ten. The defending series champion looked to be well on his way to victory, bus disaster would strike as the white flag was displayed. Whitener would suffer a flat tire on the final lap and limp his #58 mount to a sixth place finish at the checkered flag.

Big Frog Motorsports traveled to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Saturday evening for a $3,000-to-win event with the United Dirt Late Model Championship Series (UDLMCS) at the clay oval.

Whitener started the night by setting the overall fast time, which resulted in him starting on the pole of his heat race. He would go to a second place in his heat before drawing the eighth starting spot for the feature. Over the course of the 50 lap main event, Whitener survived a mayhem of cautions and a flat tire on lap 30 to a solid fifth place finish behind race winner Jeff Mathews, Austin Kirkpatrick, Jack Nosbisch, and Darrell Padgett.
