Mark Whitener and Big Frog Motorsports made an unannounced visit to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Saturday night for a Weekly Racing Series event.

Twenty-five entries were registered to battle for the $1,500 winner's check. After arriving late to the track Whitener was forced to start the tail of the third heat race, but rocketed through the field to a third place finish earning him the ninth starting spot in the 25 lap feature. In the main event, despite several caution periods Mark advanced from his fifth row starting position to a solid fourth place finish behind race winner Ivedent Lloyd Jr., Darrell Padgett, and Donnie Chappell.

March 15th, 2014 - Big Frog Motorsports Travels to Waycross
Big Frog Motorsports traveled to Waycross Motor Speedway (Waycross, Georgia) on Saturday evening for a $3,000-to-win event; the season opener for the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS).

Whitener started his night by posting the second quickest time in his group during qualifying, which resulted in him starting second in his heat race. He would go on to finish second in his heat before drawing the third starting spot for the feature.

Mark ran as high as second at times in the 40 lap main event, waging a hard fought battle with Joe Kump for that second spot. Unfortunately, Whitener and Kump would make contact in the late stages of the race, resulting in a flat tire for Whitener. His night would come to an early end, resulting in a disappointing 18th place finish.
