May 9th, 2015 - Runner-Up for Whitener at Lake City
1United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS) action resumed on Saturday night at North Florida Speedway (Lake City, Florida), where the annual Battle at the Border was contested.

Twenty-four entries took part in the event, and Mark started his outing by winning his heat race from the third row. He drew a four in the feature redraw, so that positioned him starting 4th on the grid for the $3,000-to-win event. He enjoyed a solid run in the Big Frog Motorsports #58 Barry Wright Super Late Model in the finale by advancing to a second place finish behind race winner, Kyle Bronson. Bo Allen, Nevin Gainey, and Richard Ferry rounded out the top five finishers.

May 2nd, 2015 - Big Frog Motorsports Competes at Talladega Short Track
1Mark Whitener and Big Frog Motorsports made the trek to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) to compete in a doubleheader of Super Late Model action that was held in conjunction with the NASCAR weekend.

On Friday night a $2,000-to-win, unsanctioned event was held, and Mark qualified 15th fastest in the thirty-eight car field. With only the top ten locking into the feature via time trials, he was forced to run a b-main. After starting third in the b-main his luck took a turn for the worst, when he was incorrectly credited with spinning another car. He tagged the tail of the field and advanced a few spots, but failed to reach a transfer spot as his outing came to an early end.

Saturday evening found the action being sanctioned by the Southern All Stars (SAS). Mark qualified 6th fastest in his group, and as a result he started on the pole of a b-main. He won the b-main to earn the 12th starting spot for the 40 lap feature. He raced around mid-pack throughout the event before registering a 12th place finish.
