Winger cruises in Michael Head Jr. Memorial at Senoia Raceway
Ashton Winger and Big Frog Motorsports visited Victory Lane for the second-straight week on Saturday night.
Winger took the team’s M&W Transport No. 58 Dave’s Towing / Schaeffer’s Oil / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to Victory Lane in the Michael Head Jr. Memorial at Senoia Raceway.
The victory was his second-straight in the event, and his sixth overall victory of the year.
“Wins are hard to come by, so any win means a lot, but this one (Michael Head Jr. Memorial) always means something extra special. The Head family has always been special to our family, and to come out and win in an event that honors their memory is everything,” Winger said. “And then this Big Frog Motorsports team, it’s just incredible. I’m the lucky guy that gets to drive, but I’m so grateful for everything that the team and our sponsors provide me. Hopefully we can keep riding this wave and get another big check this Saturday at Senoia (Raceway).”

Overtaking Dylan Knowles on the third circuit, Ashton dominated the remaining distance of the 54-lapper to capture his sixth win of the season and a $5,054 payday. He took is eighth-career SAS victory ahead of Dalton Cook, Austin Horton, Knowles, and Parker Martin.
